I started on the golden path of science beginning my freshmen year of high school.
I took the fork towards chemisty beginning my junior year of high school.
I devoted the next seven years of my life to chemistry, from general chemistry, to a masters in organic chemistry.
In April 2011 an acquaintance introduced me to Python through Zed A. Shaw's Learning Python the Hard Way.
It wasn't hard. In fact, I found it to be incredibly easy. I soaked it up almost as naturally as I did the psychology classes for my double major.
I decided to leave chemistry and obtain a second bachelor's in computer science. My first class was taught in C++. During the transition from my first language to my second I kept accidentally typing "print" instead of "cout."
My second class was taught in Java. I started this blog to keep the languages I've learned straight, but I thought it might also help others who are learning to program.
